Be a self-actualized individual

Everyone has a vision or dream they are here to fulfill. Not everyone realizes it!
Self-actualized people are happier, more fulfilled, more ambitious, tend to have better relationships and live life with more “peak experiences” as Abraham Maslow has reffered to i : love, joy, bliss, spiritual connection, creativity. They handle life with more confidence and capability. Every human being has this innate drive and capacity within them to attain greatness, to become more of themselves and realize their unique potential and purpose. Self actialized people have realistic vision of themselves and the world around them. They tend to lack inhibition and are able to enjoy themselves and their lives free of guilt. Other people are treated the same regardless of background, current status, or other socio-economic and cultural factors. They are problem solver, they are content as they enjoy in lone as well as in the company of others. They know the real essence of life and most importantly how to live it fuller. They value other people's feelings and respect their own. Their thoughts are flexible and are not confined by any streaotypical kind of behaviors.
I have learned these characteristics and i continuosly try to implement these within my personality to live a better life and to make a difference for others that i lived at all!

Anger Remedy

No man can think clearly when his fists are clenched. When we are angry the body releases stress hormones, such as adrenaline, noradrenaline and cortisol. The heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature and breathing rate increase. Regular episodes of anger can eventually make people ill. The biological implications of anger. Besides, its psychological perils are far greater. It is said that the root of anger is 'fear'. Its true becuase behind every reason of our anger, the crux is always some kind of fear that we feel or our pemonitions lead us towards short temperament that we feel is kind of an exhaustable therapy. However it's not. It just doubles the stress and tension to higher levels. The destructive of all human emotions, i must mention.  Its a brief madness. It destructs
The point is, how to eliminate or to reduce this habbit. As it's a natural emotion and there is not a single person who do not encounter the state of anger and has lost senses. Anger is never without a reason, but seldom with a good one. Many researches and therapies have been proposed in order to control this , but i found one thing very useful. One or two second of silence and hold before you react to any situation which ignites anger in you. That very short period is probably the most difficult to control against the anger burst, but with strong will, you can definitely overcome, and once you did, you will find yourself controlled and relaxed. Just a single wise thought will lead you towards this practice ie. 'don't destruct more!'. Anger, if not restrained, is frequently more hurtful to us than the injury that provokes it.

So i believe that anger is energy and strength you can use for powerful action. Extract the force and utilize it for the good. This is the biggest success. To conquere one'self' is the greatest victory of all!

Forward in Faith

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, or sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. Once you choose anything is possible. I believe this is the greatest of all gifts from Almighty. It is a power, a force , an energy which not only heals but strengthen us from ordeals and makes us more stoic. It creates optimism, a tranquility in our body and soul and makes our nerves serene. It yields positive energy within us that enlighten our souls and ultimately when it happens, it transforms us into more subtle, more genial of personalities. May be i think that is why spritual people are calm, silent yet full of expressions and teachings, they have definitely highest levels of hope and faith.

To me , faith is actually something which stops us from worrying. It moves our lives to go on , no matter what the circumstances are. For everyone who has doubts should practice faith, not certainity.

It's worth having. It is inevitable.

When the world says, "Give up,"
Hope whispers, "Try it one more time." :)

Self-Esteem Matters!

Self-Esteem Matters!

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection”
Siddhārtha Gautama

The greatest thing in the world is to know how to belong to oneself. The etymology of the word esteem comes from the Latin ‘aestimare’, which means ‘to value’, or ‘to estimate’. Thus, self-esteem means the value we set for ourselves. And this value has to be increased only when we start liking ourselves. This is the first and the basic phenomenon through which we can create the respect for ourselves firstly before giving it to the others, because it simply cannot possible that a person who don’t venerate oneself but others.
We have to be positive and sanguine about our self-image. We often seem to remember all the misshapes and keep accounts of the mistakes and failures we make. Why can’t we put things in a more valuable perception and think of the individuality we like in ourselves? And that makes us different from others.  Create a list of reasons why you sincerely like yourself (the more the better).

Remember, you can never reach to your goals and never do justice with the blessings of human potential we have been bestowed until and unless you don’t value your self truly and positively. This world is full of adversaries and ramifications of challenges and in the middle of all these realities we easily lost our own self, which is the most powerful and of course the precious of all. We have to be confident and strong no matter what the situation is. Just bore in mind that there is nothing more important than your self-esteem. Nothing can alter this for you. No wealth, no object and no body.

The man who does not value himself, cannot value anything or anyone

Reader is a Leader

Reader
Is a Leader

In this age of information and mind-boggling pace, professionals, regardless of their forte, need to be constantly updated about their areas of interest, as well as current affairs. And the much ignored reading habit is possibly the surest way to stay on top of the game.

The guidelines can help you get started:

1.       Younger and would be management trainees of tomorrow should not relax in the knowledge that they have already read all they need to read in college. Reading habits need to be cultivated on a continuous basis. Instead of focusing on fiction, more field-specific reading should be advanced.

2.       For urbanities that have a tough life, making time to read can be difficult, so extra motivation is needed. This can be achieved by carefully evaluating the ‘pros’ of developing a reading habit and taking it up as consistently as any other routine.

3.       A structured program to achieve reading goals is a good way to get going. There is plenty on this subject available on the internet.

4.       Reading adds to knowledge and enlightenment, which leads to a more confident and productive individual. Sadly, there aren’t many libraries in Pakistan that one could write about. There are, however, plenty of bookstores and weekly bazaars that are great for scavenging reading material. Reading or ordering books online is another option.

5.      Reading is rewarding habit and requires little investment. Working people must integrate it in their day-to-day lives, instead of leaving it as part of their retirement plant.

Build your reading habits gradually but sustain it. Here again self motivation and perseverance is vital. Once you develop this in yourself, you will conquer your potentials to yield out the best. It is fulfilling, enriching and extremely beneficial in all your life aspects. Your confidence will boost up up. Give it a try!

Go Beyond Your Comfort Zone

No matter what goals and dreams you desire, there’s a good chance it’s going to mean reaching beyond what you believe yourself to be capable of.

This fine line between what we think we can achieve and cannot is often referred to ask one’s comfort zone. The comfort zone is our living, work, and social environment that we have grown habituated to. It determines the type of profession we have, the people we relate with and the lifestyle we adopt.

Increasing our awareness to the barriers which keep us within the comfort zone can help us convince this malady. A few of these barriers are:

  1. Procrastination: I will try to achieve success someday.
  2. Indecision: I don’t know what the right decision to take right now is.
  3. Fear of Failure: What if I make changes and they won’t work out.
  4. Rationalizing: I am getting a higher salary than my friends, what else do I want.
  5. Low Self Respect: I don’t deserve anything better.

Whether it’s giving a report in class, or preparing to make a speech to the board of directors of your company-we all have a point where we begin to doubt what we’re made of. Can we really pull it off, we ask ourselves?

The key is to administer that panic and not allow it to hold us back. Keep in mind the next time you find yourself faced with one of life’s less than comfortable situations that fear is:

False Evidence Appearing Real

Keep that maxim in your wits, and also keep clearly in mind that just beyond your own comfort zone, you can have great achievements.

To revolutionize into a different lifestyle we must realize that all significant and enduring changes occur first in apparition and then they work their way into reality. If we clearly and brilliantly imagine ourselves succeeding by frequent repetitions and emotional crash, we will create a new picture of ourselves.

Reveal the creative impulse in yourself

I am not necessarily referring to artistic creativity. Many people think that creativity is producing a new creation of some type.
They’re right, that is one type of creativity. The artist, who expresses with painting pictures, molding clay or iron, composing music designing homes, furniture or clothing, is definitely creative. However, that’s only one form of creativity. Not all of us are artists by any stretch of the imagination, but in our own way we are all creative and imaginative. Creativity is an attitude toward life. It is more a matter of improvisation and inspiration than of producing something we can label as "creative." Whenever we view something in a new light or from a different perspective we are being creative.

Several years ago I read about a little boy whose pet frog fell into a hole. His father tried several ways to get the frog out, none successful. He went into the house to think about the problem. Soon the little boy came in with the frog. The father was amazed. He asked the boy what he did. The answer was so very simple that the father missed it. He answered, "I got the hose and filled the hole with water. The frog just floated up." That was creativity.
Looking at creativity in that way I am sure most of you—if not all of you—can recall times when you found a diverse approach and created a solution. It is this kind of creativity that we can use to bring richness and significance to our lives. Look at the routines that you pursue every day, and have been following for years. What would it be like if you revolutionize a few of them?
Changing something as simple as taking a different route to work will open you up to some new vistas. As you begin to look at your life with wonder you will be stunned at how thrilling it can be. Look at your life through the eyes of a child. Become childlike. A child looks at life as an exciting adventure; everything is new and wonderful. I believe that, as adults, we become so involved with our work and responsibilities we forget to take time to even imagine something different.
Creativity is within you, not in things you generate. Using it you can create and celebrate the fullness of your own individual personality. Assure yourself that you will take time to wander your environs and become aware of the beauty that is there. Observe things you never noticed before. As you open yourself to vision this part of your world in a different way, your mind will begin to look for ways to develop your actuality. It is creativity that helps to make the most of our lives, and to live up to our potential.
The world is waiting for you.
