Free Fall - Into 'Enlightment'

Discovery of the forgotten self has traditionally been called enlightenment.  What you are aware of you are in control of; what you are not aware of is in control of you. You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.
Knowledge of your own self will ultimately lead you to all the happiness. Most of us are trapped into un-necessary, unrealistic or it would not be wrong if I say self created problems and anxieties, we all try to become what we are not and continuosly struggling for material gain. We even fight inwardly and the most disturbing part is that we don't even realize where we are heading.

We all need to break this and get aware about the real purpose of our existence so that we can make a difference that lived at all! There are number of ways, supports and guidence in form of knowledge and scriptures, just need to ponder and motivate! Start meditiation today. The best way to achieve the free fall and austerity. Make up your mind sincerely. I am into it. Remember, you can truly live a peaceful, blissful, enlightened life. The only thing keeping you from it is your misconception of who you are. If you discover your true nature and learn how to just be, life will be transformed beyond your greatest expectations.

Empathy - connect to others

Empathy connects people together
Empathy heals
Empathy builds trust

Empathy is an important factor in developing compassion. Whenever I meet people I always approach them from the standpoint of the most basic things we have in common. We each have a physical structure, a mind, emotions. We are all born in the same way and we all die. All of us want happiness and do not want to suffer. Looking at others from this standpoint rather than emphasizing secondary differences, allows me to have a feeling that I'm meeting someone just the same as me. I find that relating to others on that level makes it much easier to exchange and communicate with each other. Try to understand the background of people, and to be more honest and open. That can be the most effective means of enhancing communication.

To understand a relationship also and analyze its conflicts, you need to understand the underlying basis of the relationship. A relationship based on genuine affection and caring are more likely to long lasting than those based on superficial characteristics or material desires.

Beautiful people do not just happen.. :)

We are rich!!

You say, 'If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.' You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled.

It is knowing God's plan for your life, having a conviction to live it, and believing that God's peace is greater than the world's problems.  So few people live it. Yet contentment is not something that's found; it is an attitude. We need much less than we think we need.

What religion says?

Although many Scriptures teach about the dangers of material riches, God's Word does not teach that poverty is God's alternative. God wants us to understand that money is a tool to use in accomplishing His plan through us. If we are to find true contentment we must establish some basic guidelines.

Establish a reasonable standard of living.
Establish a habit of giving
Establish priorities.
Develop a thankful attitude
Seek God's will.
Trust God's promise.

Once the attitude has been modified and all has been transferred to Allah, contentment will be evident.

Self Mastery

You will never have a greater or lesser dominion than that over yourself...the height of a man's success is gauged by his self-mastery; the depth of his failure by his self-abandonment. ...And this law is the expression of eternal justice. He who cannot establish dominion over himself will have no dominion over others.”

It is not possible to control the outside of yourself until you have mastered your breathing space. It is not possible to change anything until you understand the substance you wish to change.”

As you practice them you develop awareness and skills to:
* Stop your emotional reactions* Control the thoughts in your mind
* Identify and change core beliefs behind your thoughts and emotions
* Shift your point of view to see your self and others differently
* Dissolve the voice in your head that is critical of your self and others
* Develop respect for your self and for other people
* Gain control over your attention so you can focus on creating love and happiness in your life, and in your relationships
Is this a big list, and perhaps too much to promise? Not if you understand that your thoughts, attitude, emotions, and behavior all propagate from your core beliefs. I have started my practice.

Blessings.

Who are you?

Many times I see people who are stressed out, unhappy, overwhelmed, angry and afraid. I have to ask myself “What isn’t working?” Then I see people who are happy, self-aware, and enjoying their life. I have to ask myself, “What is working?” The interesting thing is, from outer appearances, there is no reason really as to who is happy and who isn’t.

The one common fact that is found in all of the happy people and lacking in the unhappy people is a sense of self, the acceptance of who they are. The happy ones do not want to be different; they do not want their life to be different. They are enjoying what they have and don’t care about what they don’t have. They understand that they are constantly growing and changing. They are doing the best they can and that is good enough. They do not look for validation outside of themselves and do not care what anybody else thinks about them!

It is only when you have let go of everything in this moment that you realize enlightenment. In the relinquishment of your idea of who you are, what you know and how things are supposed to be, when your self image has been broken, then there is stillness; then automatically unconditional love, peace and bliss shine forth out of every pore of your being and you discover your true nature. And this i call the true success!

It is very rightly said that where you are is the result of all your past decisions. Who you are is the result of the decision you make from one moment to the next. Probably the most valuable asset we have is our smile. When we can smile in the face of challenges and fear, we will always win and be happy. When we can smile through pain and despair, we are the winner.

When you find yourself without an answer, then you are moving in the right direction.

Keep smiling! :)

Happy??

I thought....
how free, relieved and happy we would be, if we could stay calm and content in the midst of whatever is happening in our life, not getting upset by what people say or do. It is wisdom. It has to be cultivated, only then you can yield the best out of your life!
simple..yet difficult.

I reached in experience the nirvana which is unborn, unrivalled, secure from attachment, undecaying and unstained. This condition is indeed reached by me which is deep, difficult to see, difficult to understand, tranquil, excellent, beyond the reach of mere logic, subtle, and to be realized only by the wise.

Happiness is not something far away and unattainable, and it does not depend on circumstances, objects or events. It is an inseparable part of our consciousness, of our being, but hidden and covered from sight, by our thoughts, desires and worries!!

Happiness is inherent in our souls; it is not something to be gained anew. All that is necessary to do is to uncover it.

Try! :)
