Purity - that matters !

Like a beautiful hot air balloon. If you are weighed down with sandbags and rope, how can you ever get off the ground? With each dead weight you throw out and every tie you cut, you will feel your soul get lighter!

Soul is the entity that controls both the body and mind. When man learns to connect to the soul that lies within, he can attain ultimate purity of the body and mind. Our body and mind are like the water that falls from the clouds. The two have a natural tendency to go downward. Just as through the heat of the sun, water is turned into vapor and is able to rise upward, even so, the body and mind are drawn upward and become pure when spiritual purity is attained. The elevated state is obtained through the constant practice of eternal meditation.

By attaining spiritual purity only, we can make our life truly beautiful. We are surrounded by frequencies of enlightment, for our guidence,  always, but in order to catch and transmit  them, we need to be effective devices!

"I pray thee, O Allah, that I may be beautiful within."

Modes of Contenment

The superior person can find peace in poverty; the philosophical mind accepts the will of Heaven.

Contemplation of Scripture

Whichever way you turn, there is the face of God.  Quran Kareem 2:109 

The practice of dwelling upon the implications of certain passages of the Holy Scripture. These passages concern the essence and attributes of God such as the "nowness" and "hereness" of God.

 

In the practice of muraqabah, you take this verse and begin to think it over. Sit quietly and apply your thoughts to this verse. Begin mulling over this verse during your day. Think about it wherever you go, wherever you turn your face. Think about it when you are talking to others. Wherever you look, whoever you talk to, there is the face of God.

He is the First. He is the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden, and Who knows all things!  Quran Kareem 57:3  

Contemplative reading is engaging God’s word in a way and at a time in which you have the space to allow his words to soak in. It is reading with intentionality, being and staying present to the reading of it and allow those words to speak to where you are.

I will be first to admit that there are times when theres no way out and you just need a single spectrum of light which turns you to an entirely new direction, which leads the path of life with much more confidence and wisdom..because God is greater than my mind and my heart, and what is really happening is not measurable in terms of human success and failure.

Add contemplative reading to your daily practice and I promise you will hear God’s word for your life. It is amazing how deeply His word resonates with me on a daily basis. I pray that you will find this in your life as well.

Enlightment

Do not go by revelation;
Do not go by tradition;
Do not go by hearsay;
Do not go on the authority of sacred texts;
Do not go on the grounds of pure logic;
Do not go by a view that seems rational;
Do not go by reflecting on mere appearances;


To conquer oneself is a greater task than conquering others.

Discover your "self"

In my learned experiance, no discovery is as precious as our own "self". Why? You will find out.
Our actual self is hidden under several 'signboards' so-called personality traits, 'doctor', 'engineer', 'noble', 'kind', etc., Self lies beneath. With which we are born. The purpose of our existence, the real form of our personality. Those who really want to meet their own self should meditiate. Nothing is more challenging than to face your ownself. Conquer your inner. Outer will be next.
